Student Centers for Culture & Social Action
Enrich. Engage. Expand.
From the very beginning, Saint Mary's College has been committed to educating the whole person.
We know that some of the most important college experiences happen outside of the classroom. Our Centers for Culture and Social Action allow students to pursue vital self-discovery, broaden their understanding of the wider world, and participate in our diverse, multidimensional community.
Intercultural Center
The Intercultural Center is instrumental in creating a safe, supportive campus environment and building up an inclusive community. Throughout the year, the Center hosts a variety of co-curricular programs and services and provides training, resources, and numerous opportunities to get involved.
Mission in Action
Belong. Serve. Become a force for good.
Center for Women and Gender Equity
The Center for Women & Gender Equity (CWGE) creates an inclusive space where SMC community members of all genders and backgrounds can seek education, support, dialogue, and engagement around issues of gender equity, identity, and intersectionality.
Legacy Garden
Saint Mary's half-acre campus is a living laboratory, home to a diverse range of organic fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit trees, and animals. This outdoor educational space aims to foster community, enhance academic learning, promote physical and emotional health, and encourage just and sustainable agrifood systems.
